With the multitude of nuclear reactors proposed, is this what the whole world might look like in the future. Some might say that this is what all cities should look like. No people, buildings destined to crumble to the ground, tainted earth, tainted water and inhabited only by animals capable of breeding within 3 to 10 years. Will this be a better world? If so it will not be so for humans like us. This was a thriving city with a population of over 40,000 souls. Many of these souls are now steeped in sorrow and suffering. On the horizon you will see Chernobyl 4 where an accident caused less than 5% of its radioactivity to escape and render this area uninhabitable.
Is this what we want?
